1)Co-evolution has adaptive value for the two species involved in a partnership, but it also carries an evolutionary risk. What negative possibility is associated with this adaptation? 2)At the party, you notice six people dresses in reds, yellows, and blacks. You recognize them all and can’t help but mentally separate them into two groups. Four are quite scary individuals that you have had very negative experiences with in the past. You regard the other two as harmless, even nice. Which type of mimicry apples to each group? Explain your answers. Choices for #2 Natural mimicry-refers to organisms that resemble objects in their surroundings,Batesian mimicry- occurs when a harmless species has evolved to resemble a harmful species. Predators that have learned to avoid the harmful organism will avoid the mimic as well.  Mullerian Mimicry- occurs when two different harmful species have evolved to look alike. In other words, different harmful species mimic one another. This shared ‘common look’ helps reduce predation because once stung by an organism with this color pattern, the predator will leave anything else with the same colors alone too. The predator does not have to experience countless different warning appearances and learn them all.
